Long Beach Island Food Tours was created to provide guests a taste of the amazing foods and history found on Long Beach Island, New Jersey.  With such wonderful restaurants on our beautiful island, we knew a food tour would be a perfect fit.  There is a reason why Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" and Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" visited LBI!  Our goal is to give every guest an insider's view of our local food scene.  Our tours are a perfect way for you to sample lots of delicious local fare, learn a bit about our history and have an amazing experience!

It began with a love of food!  And LBI!  Colleen and Todd Cunningham are long time home owners, and previous business owners on LBI. They have travelled quite a bit over the years and found that a local food tour in their destination cities provided a great introduction to both the local food scene and history.  Local food tours gave them the opportunity to sample some great foods!  Once Colleen retired from a long career as a financial executive - she decided to explore her culinary interest further and graduated from the International Culinary Center in NYC (formerly the French Culinary Institute) in 2019 in the Farm-to-Table program.  After graduating, she worked as a freelance chef for a high-end caterer in NYC and also helped develop a culinary education program for a group of family homeless shelters in the Bronx.  In 2020, she decided that LBI was a perfect locale for walking food tours!  Her longtime knowledge of the island and its local food scene,  created an opportunity to safely show off local eateries.  Her love for LBI and its foodie scene is readily apparent in every food tour conducted!
